Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this…
Whenever I listen to certain bands on my iPod/iPhone I pretend to either be the one singing, playing guitar, or playing the drums. I know it sounds stupid but I just can’t not think about it haha. I’ve been doing it for a few years now and it just seems, well normal I guess. This only happens to certain bands though. For example, I know there would be no way in hell I could pull off Freddie Mercury’s voice so I definitely wont be thinking I’m him. Another example is Cedric of The Mars Volta. I know I can’t sing like he does so in my head I’m the drummer. This started back in my Hardcore phase. Being the frontman of a Hardcore band seemed like the coolest thing lol. Oh well…
Come on people. Man up and say the truth. I know I’m not the only one who does this.
