In the last few years, my goal in life has been to have the smallest carbon footprint possible. I recycle everything recyclable, I spend over three hours daily commuting using public transit when the number could be drastically smaller by driving a car, I use reusable bags and never accept plastic bags from stores, I carry around one of those reusable water bottles, and the list goes on. But the one thing I will not do is take cold, short showers.
A long, hot shower is one of the few things in life that I actually love and I will not settle for something far less enjoyable. I guess you guys will just have to work harder to cover my faults, or else it looks like we’ll die sooner. Sorry.

There is no cure to a Vermont winter like a long, hot shower.

Most likely your hot-water heater is powered by hydro energy, so you’re good.

God, Sean. You won’t even give up a hot shower for the sake of our planet? Selfish~
